Employment litigation continues to be a mainstream of activity ranging from harassment to wage & hour claims. This session will review the most common mistakes employers make when dealing with employee wage claims and employer processes. An analysis of current developments in wage and hour law will offer tips and defenses employers can use to combat costly litigation.
About The Speaker:
Amber M. Solano represents employers in both the private and public sector in all areas of labor and employment law, including the areas of wrongful discharge, wage and hour, discrimination/harassment, defamation, leaves of absences, privacy, and the First Amendment. Ms. Solano handles matters in state and federal courts as well as before various administrative agencies.
